| 23 Years Of Excellence In Cello Musicianship Pamela has been playing cello since age 8. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in music education in 2001. She recieved her certificate in Suzuki training from Ithaca college in 2010. She has been teaching violin, viola and cello as a string specialist for the Cranston, Rhode Island public schools for about 10 years and is the conductor of the Cranston High School East Orchestra. Currently Pamela performs with the New Bedford Symphony, Hartford Festival Orchestra and Col' Areo String Quartet. She is the former president of the Rhode Island String Teachers Association and is a member of the Rhode Island Music Educators Association. Pam started the Col' Areo String Quartet in 2009. Christina Brownell and Kate Chen both play violin and Michael Raymond plays viola in the group. They often host free events for charities in the Rhode Island area.
